A property assistant needs two kinds of information: stable explanatory material and fast-changing listing facts. Buying-process guides can come from reviewed documents. Price, status, unit details, and viewing slots should come from the inventory system.
A practical scenario
If a visitor asks whether a particular unit is still available, search by listing ID and read the current status. A retrieved brochure may describe the development accurately while being wrong about that unit. The assistant should show the last check or say that confirmation is needed when the inventory service is unavailable.
Design the first version
Design separate tools for listing search, unit detail, and viewing requests. Validate filters against allowed fields. Avoid giving the model unrestricted database access. Preserve the IDs behind every displayed result so an agent can verify the same record rather than guessing which property the visitor meant.
What to test and measure
Test sold units, duplicate names, missing images, price changes, and temporarily stale feeds. The acceptance criterion is factual consistency with the source system, not persuasive wording. Track inquiries that cannot be matched to a valid record and feed those gaps back to inventory operations.
Questions to resolve before commissioning
- Which source system owns the facts used in this workflow?
- Who reviews exceptions and corrects inaccurate output?
- What baseline and acceptance criteria will determine whether the pilot is useful?
- What should the user do when a source, tool, or device is unavailable?
