How it works. A face detector finds each face, 68 landmarks align it, and a neural network turns it into a 128-number descriptor. Two faces match when their descriptors are close enough for the chosen strictness. Liveness watches for a blink and a natural head movement, which a printed photo or a phone screen can't produce. Everything runs in your browser with TensorFlow.js.
Privacy & limits. This is a demo: accuracy depends on light, camera and angle, and browser liveness is not a substitute for certified anti-spoofing hardware. Face data is biometric data: real deployments need informed consent, a clear purpose and retention policy, and compliance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and sector rules. We design for that from day one.
